Where are America's cap brands actually made?

Walk any trade-show floor and you'll see a dozen cap brands presented as rivals. Follow the shipping records and a different picture emerges: a handful of factory clusters in Bangladesh, and a few industrial zones in China and Vietnam, supplying most of the labels on the wall. US customs filings show the same Bangladeshi factories serving several of the biggest names between them. "Made in Bangladesh" isn't the discount corner of American headwear — it is American headwear.

Three countries dominate. Every major supplier we researched manufactures in at least two of Bangladesh, China and Vietnam. Sri Lanka recurs as a secondary node. Domestic US production is real but vestigial — a marketing capsule here, a knit-only line there.

What no company provides — including the most transparent ones — is per-product disclosure. Corporate country lists exist. Codes of conduct exist. But nobody tells you which country the specific cap in your order came from.
