Where are Otto caps made?
China primarily and Myanmar secondarily, through third-party contract factories — per US customs filings. Otto publishes no origin information, but it is the one cap brand with an on-the-record tariff letter, which makes its import dependence a matter of its own statement.
The facts
Otto International (Ontario, California) describes itself as a manufacturer of seventy years’ standing. The customs record shows a different, equally legitimate model: a stocking importer buying finished caps from independent contract factories — principally the J&F Headwear Group of Jiangsu and Henan, China, and Myanmar LNY Caps of Yangon — then adding US inventory depth across three warehouses and domestic decoration. Otto’s real value is availability, not owned production.
The Myanmar lane is the distinctive finding. Few US blank-cap suppliers show Myanmar-origin filings, and Otto’s most recent recorded shipments are exactly that. We note it strictly as what the bills of lading say.
