Military-style diaper bags, built for dads
A diaper bag that a father would carry without apology — that was the whole brief. The category was full of florals and pastels, and the client’s customers wanted MOLLE webbing, heavy-duty hardware and a silhouette borrowed from tactical packs.
Working from their design team’s drawings, we sampled through the details that decide whether a bag like this survives: webbing anchorage, zipper pulls sized for one hand while the other holds a child, and a base that stays rigid when the bag is full. The tactical look is easy to draw and unforgiving to build — the hardware has to earn the aesthetic.
Production runs in Vietnam, on our bag lines.
