Worked from HTS 6505.00.20 — caps of cotton. We make these in Bangladesh. Man-made-fibre caps sit on 6505.00.80, a compound weight-based rate (18.7¢/kg + 6.8%) that cannot be shown as one percentage, so the cotton line is used. The China figure includes Section 301 List 3 (+25%).

Worked from HTS 9617.00.10 — vacuum-insulated bottles up to 1 litre. We make these in Vietnam. This line carries no Section 301 List 3 duty and is not on the Section 232 steel list, so Vietnam and China land the same. Single-wall stainless bottles are a different line (7323.93) and ARE on the Section 232 list — 50% of full value, from any origin — which is the biggest duty decision in drinkware.
Duty on FOB value, before merchandise processing and harbor maintenance fees. There is no further China-only layer on these lines: IEEPA tariffs were struck down in February 2026 and the Section 122 surcharge that replaced them expired on 24 July 2026, the day the country tariffs above began. Section 232 steel duties do not touch vacuum flasks — but single-wall stainless bottles (HTS 7323.93) are on that list at 50% of full value from any origin. Classification decides: confirm your own HTS line with your broker before budgeting.

Three products, three origins, headline lines. Want it for your exact HTS code and landed cost? The full calculator is on the way.
Bangladesh's rate settled at 10% — now the lowest of our three hubs. Vietnam and China both sit at a 12.5% baseline.
Legacy Section 301 duties still stack on top of the baseline for many China HTS lines. And your product's classification — not the headline rate — still decides what you actually pay.
